WELL, IF ALL WORKS WELL, YOU CAN SEE FROM THE ATTACHED FOTO THAT THE AIRLINES SENT BACK THE PRESENT I MADE FOR LAURA. NOT A BONE OUT OF PLACE. THANK YOU UNITED AIRLINES.

  • Well done United Airlines! What a wonderful gift for Laura. Also, I hope that 3000 years from now an archeologist finds it and is perplexed.

  • That's very cool ... a true labor of love! I like the archeologist idea, too:

"hmmm, was this made by a native american tribe? no, the wood is carbon dating much later than that ... maybe a primitive enclave existed somewhere in the wilds of Portland and made brief forays into the urban metropolis to buy wooden jewelry boxes to adorn for their loved ones ..."

  • My next assemblage will be a monumental collection of artfully arranged and painstakingly placed dirty underpants.

  • Killy used to make such assemblages all the time, on my desk, when we were roommates back at SWT

  • are you trying to provoke me?

how could i hvae possibly assembled such things seeing that i was passed out on the floor most of the time i was in there?

  • truly a thing to behold. i think the part that amazes me most, besides the diligence, craftsmanship and general aesthetic appeal, is the amazing gastric system that was able to suck the meat off those bones and pass them out again.
