  • I need to grow up...

    "Don't...
Use ketchup on your hot dog after the age of 18.
Mustard, relish, onions, cheese and chili are acceptable."

  • So I guess since mayo didn't even make the "don't" list, anyone who claimed to like it on hot dogs would immediately be strung up?

  • Ethan,

In this case, I think it's more of a lifestyle choice on the part of the hot dog rather than a serving suggestion. He wants to put ketchup on himself, who are we to judge?

Furthermore, I say do all you can to cover up the flavor of hot dog. Cover that shit in the vilest, off-brand can of canned cheese you can find if you need to. Hot dogs are unacceptable as a foodstuff.

I also think ketchup is sort of unacceptable. I can't think of a good use for it.

  • Sara,

I believe that this hot dog is suffering from cognitive dissonance. Deep within his casing he knows that it is wrong to put ketchup on himself and yet he does it. Why? You call it a lifestyle choice. I call it a pathetic attempt to draw attention to himself. You say not to judge him. I say that that sort of attitude leads down a path I should not want to tread. Where do we draw the line? Putting ketchup on a hot dog or on one's self if one is a hot dog is a borderline criminal activity. Judge the hot dog.
