Radio Pod?

Can someone check out this app? I'd like to know if this would allow me to stream This American Life to mp3 so i can listen to it later. I always seem to miss it on KUHF.

  • TAL requires Real Player. I don't think that RadioPod will record Real streams (although I could not confirm that on the website. If your local station broadcasts an unprotected mp3 stream, then RadioPod should work. I also recently saw this app, Radio Recorder on O'Reillynet's MacDevCenter. The advantage of Radio Recorder is its nice scheduling settings. I think that they look easier to use than Roque Amoeba's Audio Hijack. Audio Hijack is the granddaddy of all these apps and it has the singular advantage of recording from the unprotected stream that goes from the CPU to the audio chip. This means it can record anything.

  • Is this the same as WireTap? this is a recording app that will record anything that comes through your speakers (from CPU to audio chip, i guess) ... i remember getting that a long time ago, but never really using it.
