  • Thats so cool!

The primary plant type in my office is what grows in old coffee cups. A few weeks ago, the building maintenance guy took a vacation--the lady who filled in for him was too efficient and took away everyone's cups at the end of the day. As a result, we ran out of room in the kitchen cupboard. Cups had to be double stacked!

  • Sounds like golden pothos -- they are so easy to grow in water and look so pretty trailing over desk and files and things...

  • I think what adolph meant to say was that the only thing grown in the office is old coffee mold. recently, i found an old coffee cup (actually it was the coffee cup that adolfo iv made for me with his 6 mo. old hands and feet on it) behind my toolbox in the garage that must have been left there while i was working in there one day. the mold had already been born, lived and died in there. it was a black disgusting crust that wouldn't come up even with rigorous scrubbing. determined to save this cup, i let it sit for nearly a week in hot soapy water. after that, it came right off. i still put it through a hot wash in the dishwasher just to be sure.

Killy, vinegar is the thing to use to get rid of coffee mold. not that i know anything about it firsthand., i just read a bit.

I thought you were from Texas???

Have you completely forgotten about us?

Do you like the Yankees and the Mets now or what??

  • Todd, I can pay $20/hour -- when can you start??

Carol, I'll always be a Texan at heart, even though I didn't inherit much of an accent, which always seems to puzzle people up here. Still, I bristle when these damn yankees make fun of Texas or assume we all love Bush!!
