  • I am sticking by my assertion that a group of ravens is an unkindness. See here and here.

    I have also seen "congess" listed in a few places. I am sure both are acceptable. There does not seem to be any definitive resource for these names.

  • well, tonight is the night john. carol is going to load up on warm mexican sweet bread (pan dulce) and make some hot cinammon chocolate, but i'm sure we can just as easily make some hot alcoholic drinks. if ethan/kathy decide to come over you guys can rattle off the groupings of things all night if you wish. i'll start a fire out back to warm us up or we can watch Season 1 of The Office (USA version).

    it's good that you didnt' anyway, cause the evening deteriorated: adolfo was extra crazy and our in-laws are here. ethan never came over either, so you were prolly much better off caring for your sig other. but tonight is the white elephant gift exchange over at krista's house (next door) and you are EXTRA INVITED.
