Staying Home

I'm staying home today so I can get over this nasty stomach thing i've got. I don't feel 100% as i was hoping i would. my stomach still has that weird feeling, and my head is slightly hurting. maybe a little breakfast will help once i get going.

adolfo iv is making liguistic leaps and bounds. his babbling is becoming more experimental these days. he's added several new 'sounds' to his vocabulary. watching him, i determined that he was using his tongue more. saying the word 'gold' might help explain what i'm seeing in his speech (it kinda sounds like that's what he's saying when he babbles now). his tongue is coming forward when he babbles, which results in a lot more drool, but he's getting used to it.

kilito and i are prolly going to go for a walk today. maybe down to starbucks for a cup of coffee. maybe just to the end of the neighborhood. looking out the window the weather doesn't look too threatening today. i wouldn't want to get caught in the rain.
