Buy High Sell Low

I really dislike the week or two after buying something. It is the time when something better typically becomes available, like NuPower's High-capacity Replacement Battery For Your Apple PowerBookG4 12". I can't say I didn't know they were coming, but I didn't know they were coming so soon.

  • i guess the extra ten bucks would be worth the extra 11% capacity. i've had the notion in the back of my head that i need a new battery. even after resetting the power manager and the pram(?) my pb will still shut down even though the power indicator says 23% or something like that. of course, this is not always the case; there are times when it will run till the indicator says 0%. it always seems to me that the battery runs out too quickly, but i can't say that i've timed it.

  • Basically, mine was to the point where I could work for about 45 minutes and it would quit. You can get a lot done in 45 minutes, but I'm typically just getting moving about that point. I think I meant and then forgot to mention you specifically in this post, Killy. It is probably getting close to new battery time for you too.
