Anybody use it? Comments?

  • We use it. I like it. We get three movies, keep them as long as we want and return them as we watch them. I've got nearly 67 movies in my rental queue. You can re-order the movies in your queue so that you can watch what you are in the mood for.

  • It is nice if you make the commitment to watch more movies than you would potentially have in rental fees. It is nice if it is very inconvenient to go to a video store. It is nice if you okay with preplanning your movie habits. It is nice if you hate having to walk around a store and try and remember what you wanted to watch and what genre it is in. I think they do have a distribution center in Austin because it typically takes one day to mail a DVD to them and one day to get one back.

  • Mindy and I were just discussing this. She doesn't have Netflicks but reserves movies at the fabulous library a block away. We agree that somehow when you have movies so readily available it starts to feel like an obligation rather than entertainment. Maybe I'm just not doing a good job selecting really interesting movies. Or maybe I should be like Sara and Brian and reserve one night a week as movie night.
