iConquer

So, playing iConquer was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed being able to communicate in secret with allies and enemies. But I did not enjoy having the game crash after 2+ hours of play, right when things were really getting interesting...

So what alternatives are there?

  • not getting frustrated when counting out your armies when we try to play the boardgame. it would be interesting to (create???) find a way to play it much like correspondence chess. it would be kinda nice to get an official letter from the government of paul (complete with wax seal) asking me to join him in his attempts to unseat the villanous, treacherous and black-hearted adolph of gaul, who more than likely possesses all manner of biological weapons and a mean streak.
