Do like Tommy Lee Jones' sad, bulbous, crease-crossed face?
If so, then you will love The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada. I caught it at that Alamo South last night; I found the movie to be—a little heavy-handed. It was not a bad film, nor was it great. It was just-ok.
I always liked his face until I actually met him once when I was working for a plant nursery in Austin. He wasn't very friendly. In fact, he was opinionated, arrogant, and seemed very used to getting his way. His eyes were cold.
Still, he is a pretty good actor.
I prefer Ann Richards for tough Texas attitude, weathered features, and a heart of gold. She was also very strong and opinionated when I met her in Texas, but with substance to back it up. And I loved the Texas Monthly with her on the motorcycle!
