Nikon D200



Specs for the upcoming Nikon D200 are out. Simultaneous RAW and jpeg recording ... neat-o.

I like my little sd-10 (a lot), but there's no denying i would love a digital SLR for myself.

  • Man, I wish Nikon would step up to the plate and bat.
    the D200 is too little to late.
    Canon is set to ship it's 5D for 3,000 (yes they are pricey) with a full frame 12 MegaP. cmos censor.
    Come on.
    For half the price of that you can buy the 20D which produces beautifull data.
    I have met three pro photographers that have finally choked down their investment on Nikon lenses to trade to Canon bodies and lenses.

  • while the specs on the canon are impressive, there is no way i could swallow the cost of new body, new lenses, new flash (maybe not). particularly since i am not shooting for dough (as you are). it would choke me to death.
