I've gotten a few gigs lately. One of my favorite places to shoot is the Houston Symphony. Normally, I shoot as an employee of Catchlight Group as an event photographer. One of these days I hope to get hired directly for musician portraits. One day ...

In the meantime, here is a panorama i did of the Houston Symphony on Thursday evening, March 28th during the Salute to Educators Concert. This photo depicts the the winner from the Houston Symphony League Concerto Competition, Anna Han, performing Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 1

Recently acquired a second SB-600 and it occured to me to try and compare the output from the Nikons and the LumoPros.

Paola and Adolfo helped.

Turns out, in this completely unscientific approach, the outputs are very similar. The two on the floor are the LP160s and the ones up top are the Nikon SB-600s.

Nice.
